I am thinking along similar lines when I start painting my SM shortly. No assault marines? You mentioned them in opening comment and then not in list. What is in 2nd Thunderhawk? Cheers James |

Ah ok- makes sense with bikes. If using 2nd Thunderhawk for CAP/ground attack would it be better to use Thunderbolts instead? Cheers James |

Thunderhawks cannot go on CAP. Quote: Combat Air Patrol (CAP): Only fighters and fighter-bombers
can choose this action. Take an action test for the formation and if it passes set up the formation touching your own side’s table edge to show where it will enter play |

Thunderhawks can't CAP. Only fighters and fighter-bombers can choose CAP or Intercept orders. |

A good solid list to play with. If I was to make one change I might drop the Captain from the second Tactical formation and go with two additional Razorbacks. |

personally I would rather stick the hunter in a tactical formation rather than the devs... |

I will think about both of these tips. As it wouldn't affect the overall list to much and as I have the models required I can try them out before I decide. If I move the Hunter to the Tacs, should I then give the Devs some of the Razorbacks to keep the cost of the Tac formation down? Thanks for everyones input! Hey lindstrom I would like to put my comment in the correct light. I am still pretty much a beginner. I tend to stick the hunter with my tacticals as there are then 4 vehicles so I can place the hunter back so it is not the first or second to be taken out. I may be wrong, but I think the survivability of the hunter is greater with the tacs than the devs.. that is my only reason for sticking it there. |
