Interesting list. Lots of firepower from the Knights and Questors. The biggest worry would be coming up against a force with a SR5 that can push your drop back a turn. I have found the terminators hard to use as a single formation and have started taking two formations for a harder hit. |

Tried dropping them and to be honest I think the retinues work better in rhinos. |

I know they'd have more maneuverability with the rhinos, I'm just hesitant to have them run the gauntlet from the very first turn... with your opponent able to read where you're coming from, the spaceship option just looked like a nice way of getting to where they needed to be whilst keeping your opponent on his toes ![]() Re: firepower, I thought 2 units of daemonic engines might have been a bit overkill but... eh... I like the OOP models... not sure my wallet does though :/ (the fluff purist in me also wants to take multiples of 6 for the lesser daemons but points wouldn't allow for 12 and I don't want as few as 6!) |

Huzzah! What're you thinking of using model-wise for Daemon Knights and Quaestors? |

Beyond being a fluff puritan, my purist ways stretch to models too so I'll be looking to use... OOP daemon knights and OOP questors... ![]() ![]() I'd already picked up 4 daemon engines courtesy of ebay and www.wargamingtrader.com a while back, prior to starting the new marine army for FSA, which put this project briefly on hold |

My thoughts for titans have always been cryx warmachine jacks....but the spidery ones are probably too big for DC3 so would have to be a Reaver sized option. The little ones just look a bit too solid for slaanesh. |

Revenants are the obvious option, but probably just as expensive as oop slaaneshi stuff |

Regarding the list, my personal choice would be to only have 1 formation in drop pods. Unless your planning on doing combined assaults with the 2 Retinues or dropping 1 in a safe area and 1 in an agressive area, then against any decent player the formation that doesn't get to retain will be taken out before it gets to activate. Play the list in a few games first, get a feel of how it will work in games or if there's anything that you may want to change. With the cost of these OOP minis you don't want to spend lots of cash and months finding then painting them to find they don't suit how you want to play the army. I'm sure you or a local opponent has stuff that can be used as proxies just for a couple of games. Mainly to get a feel of how the list works and performs and then you can make adjustments (if needed) to your list. |

Yea guess I can proxy the army beforehand using my SM force, will give that a shot before I commit to anything with the OOP stuff I've got so far! |
