Hi all, shall be popping my tournament cherry in February as I'm signed up for FSA, just wondered if I could get some critique for my list before sending it off as finalised! TACTICAL DETACHMENT [475] 6 Tacticals, Transport, Hunter, Supreme Commander TACTICAL DETACHMENT [375] 6 Tacticals, Transport, Hunter DEVASTATOR DETACHMENT [250] 4 Devastators, Transport ASSAULT DETACHMENT [225] 4 Assault Units, Chaplain TERMINATOR DETACHMENT [400] 4 Terminators, Chaplain SCOUT DETACHMENT [175] 4 Scouts, Transport, Razorback BIKE DETACHMENT [200] 5 Bikes THUNDERHAWK [200] WARHOUND TITAN [275] WARHOUND TITAN [275] THUNDERBOLT FIGHTERS [150] 2 Fighters I usually run two thunderhawks and two assault detachments, but as Mephiston will attest to, never do too well.. I think I get carried away and forget about the bigger picture, I have some kind of plan in mind for this list though with the various detachments sorted into groups with specific goals and objectives, some are multi-purpose and are there to support other detachments later on in the game (i.e. thunderhawk, used initially to harass and place BMs on oppo detachments and prep for assault etc, then later in the game it will be used to scoop up detachments and re-deploy wherever they may be needed - assuming it survives that long!) Any thoughts / comments / criticisms? Thanks in advance ![]() |

Nothing wrong with the list. Some might use Landspeeders instead of Bikes, but it is down to personnal preference. |

Personally I would consider at least 1 more AA (Hunter?) Or are you considering using your thunderbolts & thunderhawk as AA? FWIW - I am a total newbie so I would take what I say with a pinch of salt. |

thunderbolts are going to be there for potential AA as well as a similar support role to the thunderhawk (i.e. be a nuisance!) ![]() |

Enri So would one consider 2 hunters + Thunderbolts on CAP as adequate AA cover? |

Glancing through the past lists on the epic-uk site 2 hunters and one T'bolt is pretty common to be honest. |

I usually only take 2 hunters anyway and always forget that I can use CAP with the thunderbolts ![]() (also worth noting that I'm pretty much still a newb to the EA rules!) |
