Does the extra twin-soopa gun make any sense? You get an extra barrage template and blast marker in exchange for the TK(D3) shot and extra security in b2b assaults that the lifta dropa provides, I suppose it depends on what you intend to shoot at, but is the TK shot roughly equivalent in terms of extra damage dealt, to that extra template I wonder. The lifta-droppa option seems overall the most flexible to me. |

Is shooting a Great Gargant at a small formation, say a single baneblade, a waste of points? (discounting the possibility of having to do so in order to win the game on goals of course) |

Logically, that would depend on what other targets are on offer. Usually? I'd say yes. But if there's nothing else worth shooting... |

- - - and that "templates must be placed in such a way as to get as many enemy units from the target formation under them as possible within the restrictions for lines of fire and range". I other words, you must try to hit the target formation with all the templates, any co-lateral damage to other formations should only happen after these conditions have been fulfilled. |

Exactly... as I was responding about that third template in regard to this: "Most marine and eldar formations will fit nicely under two templates- if this is the case the third is wasted." |
