Forgeworld never made this in resin right? This is an obvious recast?

Yeah I had noticed this myself. They've got a few items listed that are the same dealio: Metal only resin recasts in FW bags

Looks like they've done a very smart job of it at least. Bit odd not to recast it in metal though.

I heard a rumor that resin holds detail much better, that's why GW moved to finecast. ::)

It is. No way would the edges of the bubbles be that sharp in metal.
