Riddle me this...

Why are people willing to pay about thirty quid for a pair of FW Warhounds, when they only cost 19quid new from FW?!?!

Also people don't realize they are still available. I had a guy who was auctioning 16 blisters start bid $75 bucks buyout 120. I asked him if he would mind selling some of them and a couple other auctions as a whole. He said he wouldn't mind took his auction down, then quoted me a huge price for the stuff. I was floored i asked him if he could post prices next to everything so i could see what i could live without. The combined price of the 7 blisters i wanted out of the 16 he had up in 1 auction was like 110 bucks. I told him no thanks and he got super offended, but i'm not going to pay 110 bucks for 7 blisters when i can get all 16 for 120. Guy was cracked.

Well it doesn't help when the resellers don't mention that they are still available. Some people are just out to try to screw the unwary out of their cash

I don't agree with the selling practices, but ultimately the fault falls on the bidder IMO. If they have access to eBay, they have access to the rest of the internet and can spend 10 minutes researching what they are bidding on. Buyer beware.

Caveat emptor indeed!

I will always look on FW website just to see what is still being sold. I still get confused by the apparently random nature of what was withdrawn. In general it looks as if the Aeronautica Imperialis stuff and the bestselling stuff has been kept with the rest withdrawn.

And not to be a bore but in all fairness the seller started the bidding out at like 2GBP. The buyers are the ones that get all "bid fever" and go nuts usually.

Ha! I didn't even notice that. Yeah, I'll double down on my opinion. It's like the sports fans paying outrageous prices for an event, then complaining about how everything costs too much. Complaining about ebay prices is a strange confluence of envy and ignorance.
