Post subject:  Mighty Gobbo recaster?
Just picked up some Epic Forge World Defence Lines from a fellow on eBay called The Mighty Gobbo. It appears to be a fairly decent recast done in some sort of dental plaster.

Is this guy a known recaster?

Seriously though, there is so much recast material out there that it could just be a resold recast from some other person or a shoddy original. I've seen some pretty sad originals when it comes to epic stuff.

I sent him an email to ask if he was aware that it wasn't an original but I was sent a "Second Chance Offer" on three auctions of Forge World terrain so quickly that I was immediately suspicious.

The casts aren't bad but they are not Forge World resin.

I was just curious if he had a known history of this sort of thing.

I had purchased some metal miniatures about a month ago, i started painting them i dano 5 days ago for the most part. I noticed difference in what was the same model, so i sent a message and was refunded a 3rd of what i paid. Wasn't asking for money was just asking if he knew they where recasts, i'll never say no to free money though.
