I'm bidding, but just on stuff I can use to fill in my collection. If I had to guess, I'd say it's a combination of the older models and odd lot sizes that makes them a bit less attractive. Also, it looks like Snesleywipes is selling off a large amount of Epic stuff as well so the timing isn't the best. Personally, when it comes to models painted to a decent standard, I'd much rather buy them in good-sized lots than piecemeal. I don't mind putting down, say, an artillery company that doesn't match the rest of the force, but putting down a smaller formation here or there that doesn't match bothers me. That takes the smaller lots from a ready-to-play price range to the strip-and-repaint price range. |
