Does Taccomms have a 'look at this crazy price on ebay' thread? If it does, I couldn't easily find it. Feels like one should be here. Sorry if this is a violation of the boards or something.

Anyways, here's a FW thunderhawk I've been watching on ebay. Close to the end of the auction and it's £11 more than a brand-spanking new one direct from FW.

Here's a Warmonger titan I've been watching for almost a month. It's 'buy it now', but hasn't been snapped up yet. Think the £500 price-tag has something to do with it?

I watch/watched both items too
The price for the Thunderhawk is too high and for the warmonger ridiculous

The warmonger was an normal auction
but it was canceled before the auction ends >:(
a couple of days later it poped up as a "buy-now" item with this nice price

There is a normal Imperator Titan NIB only for 1500$

This is easy to explain
If you want a FW thunderhawk
you first have to pay a nice high postage
after several weeks waiting you get your mini

but whats that?
A part is missing
oh and you have some serious casting damage
so you contact them again
no problem you get your new parts
....after several weeks of course ::)

Maybe thats why the people paid more than the original price
just a suggestion

best regards

But you don't know that the ebay thunderhawk is complete and not miscast - which is far more of a risk

I think FW have improved their dispatch time greatly, or else im just lucky. My last 2 FW order, both AI items, arrived the morning after i ordered them , with regular postage. The vampire raider was not cured properly (i could mark it with my finger nail >:( ) , complained, new 1 arrived the next morning :D

Maybe somre poor 13 yr old 40k player cant read the THIS IS EPIC NOT 40k warning and thinks ther're bidding ona full scale Thawk? :-\

That's really funny. I'm not sure who is dumber, the seller or someone insane enough to pay that price.

1500$ for the imperator is funny
since you are getting a warmonger for the half price ::)

Yea but after you pay the $1500 you have to pay $1 for packaging material. heh. Thats almost funny.

Oh, and this is for the "advanced collector." None of you chums qualify!

Well he's had 15 offers and all except the two pending ones have expired so I guess he's serious about 1500.
