They seem to have come right off the boil now. It's far easier to get an Imperator than a Mk2 Warlord. |

What I find shocking is that anyone on this board is still shocked at how silly ebay can be.  eBay, by it's very nature, isdesigned to maximize the amount that is paid. The person who is willing to pay the most get's it. And we all know the world has it's fair share of psychos out there with more money then we have.  Daniel |

Only if two people simulateneously want one, both have a silly amount of cash sitting around at the time and decide to have a bidding war at the particular time you decide to sell it. Its a big gamble where only Ebay is garanteed of making the money, for sellers its pot luck and for buyers less of a gamble as you can always pull out at a resonable price (assuming you don't have hassles actually getting the item in the condition you expected). Most of the things I have sold have gone for cruddy prices where I wish I never sold it, yet heaps of attention gets drawn to the crazy prices so people keep taking the gamble. |
