Sorry Apoc, I stupidly hadn't picked up on your sarcasm! Re-reading your post it seems so obvious!

Anyway, there's a Hellbore up on ebay which I thought I might bid on (so sharing this link here probably isn't the best idea) but I noticed that it says there was a "plastic track sprue" that should have been with this. Does anyone know if the fact that this is missing means buying the Hellbore would be a waste of time?

In regards to the plastic tracks - i think they are still used by airfix or similar. German WWII era tiger or the vietnam era US APC should fit.

The way I see it is that the transporter is missing its lower half. The plastic under carrage and tracks were the same for the Capital Imperialis. But the Hellbore itself looks fine. I am also watching this, but don't intend to bid for it. The three Overlords, now that's another matter.

Hmm. If it is incomplete it won't be any use to me. I want this for gameplay and don't want half a model. Thanks for clearing this up chaps!

And don't worry Tim, I won't be bidding against you for those airships! I managed to pick up three of them a while back. I dunno which version of epic you play but they are really frustrating to play against in NetEpic. As an enemy playing against the Overlords, when you "hit" one there is still a 50/50 chance there will be "no effect as the shot passes harmlessly through". I can't tell you how much that rule annoys me!

On a seperate note, when I was looking through the NetEpic Gold army rulebooks, I noticed that there have been a lot of new units added since "when I was a lad" but I never see this kind of stuff on ebay, it's always the miniatures that I was familiar with. Does anyone know if a lot of the "new" minatures are maybe from some other wargaming system?

Yes, the plastic track is the lower half ofthe transport module, and without it, the thing has no wheels. I do wonder if something like an Exodus Wars SHT would fit under there. Actually, why hasnt someone drafted a simple, flat track bed section that fits under the Hellbore and CI as replacements? I might even buy a couple to mount a few huge guns for Ordinatus.... It would just need to be a large, flat topped, flat crawler with tracks.... hmmmm......

Probably because the original plastic tank kit that GW licensed the treads from is still easily available from a number of webstores.

Hi guys.

That hellbore can be fixed up I would of thought. If it stays cheap it would be worth it i.e. half a hellbore for half a usual price they go for. :)

And as we move into another Sunday of ebay bargin bonkers. I wish you all the best of luck :-\

Just got 50 2.5" trees for $12, including shipping from China... If they're not making a loss on me I'd be surprised. By the way the was two lots of 25 with shipping of $4.99 each. :D

So, got that bid pile of squats on Sunday.

Big postage, but a reasonable buy I think. I would of probably spent more than that buying that much individualy in the future.

This is a tricky subject really, because I kinda feel bad for any of the community who also bid on it.I just realised that disclosing your ebay wins may piff other people. Thats so not my intention and I hope thats not the case. Its gone to a good home guys.

Be lucky

Dunno about you guys, but I think this is an absolute bargain from our friend markfieldminatures:

£20 for a single resin vanquisher tank from forgeworld. Bargain! Thanks but no thanks, Mark.

Jeeze that guy !

I really am going to start "watching" his items via Ebay, because someone buys his stuff. Maybe he buys it from another of his accounts ?

I did buy some old school IG off Spen2004 about four years ago, but nothing like the prices he sells at now.

He really needs to sit down and paint something, then he'll get it. Maybe.
