Ha, well said CS. And fair enough.

Yes I won the Hellbore. So now i'm in the hellbore club !!!!

Could of been alot more expensive but the IG Coy just about sweetens the deal. Plus I got two battries of rapiers. What with the postage as well thats all my pocket money gone !

So come on then, who else got ebay fever yeserday, any sweet deals ?

Nice work Dogtrooper, well chuffed for you! I thought about those rapiers too but decided to leave them as I had my eyes on several other items. Glad I didn't get into a bidding war against you!

Yes, I did go crazy on ebay yesterday & today!

I scooped up the following;-

2 Thunderhawk Gunships
6 Predators (to help replace the Rhinos I have with the blobs of clay & command poles)
6 Basilisks
3 Bombards
3 Deathstrike Missile Launchers
1 Leviathan (incorrectly advertised as a Collosus - this means I now am the proud owner of 2 proper Leviathans, as good as it is, my friend's hand-built representation is unlikely to get used again!)

All of this will really beef up my Imperial Guard army, once I've painted it all I'll update my pics of the force. I'm toying with idea of picking up Vindicators as well as a few more Predators. It would be nice to have Predator & Vindicator companies to add to my newly acquired rocket & artillery companies!

Once my money situation improves (ie once I get paid again), I will have to have a think about joining team Hellbore as well! Only if the price is right of course, not forking out 80 quid for one...

Yeh … spotted that one as well, it's the "rather" in the description that does it :D

Take a spin through the other listings while you're at it. Wargames, Lego Minifigs, bad paintings, and books on cryptozoology by the account holder. It's an odd combination.

Christ Apoc, I had missed that description! Hilarious!

That was a fantastic tip off Spectrar, the paintings are well worth a look! The titles are almost as good as the technical expertise on show;

"Stoke City Peter Crouch wonder goal against Man City"

"The absinthe fairy topless" (Phwoooooooaaaaaarrrr!!!)

But my absolute favourite has to be the surrealist masterpiece that is:-

"Buxom lass running on beach bald man looses his wig"

And in case anyone thinks I made that shit up...

'Two-headed mermaid in Warrington' sounds like something from Robert Rankin or Gideon Defoe.

Don't you hate it when you forget to put a bid in on Ebay? I meant to bid on some Land Train Battlecars but completely forgot! Raging!

On a seperate note, I'd just like to say how delighted I am that no one is buying the ridiculously priced Hellbores and Capitol Imperialis (not to mention all of those Chaos vehicles). I hate to see people trying to take the piss out of us just because we are passionate about our hobby.

Aye, what a load of old toss! Not as bad as this disgrace though;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Warhammer-spa ... 3ccc06b5e7

I appreciate that this is a rare item, but come on... £85?!!! What a bell-end.

At least that one is probably an original, and if not, at least a metal re-cast – rather than shoddy resin like those tanks.

And the paint job, clearly the value is in that paint job :P

I don't care if he chucks in a few litres of emulsion, it still ain't worth £85! We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one Apoc!
