Not on ebay though.

Good call, Well spotted, not sure what the quality is like though,

The mad thing with china is companys expect it to happen, The cost of building the product in china is so cheap companys even take on board that they will loose 15-20 in copied i.p but it still works out cheap, thats why most companys will not even bother to chase up china for legal bull as they are already on a winner!

I picked some up a couple of weeks back. Quality looks ok to me, even replaced a devilfish with a broken burst cannon with another he "found" no questions asked...

It's annoying that they go to the effort of hiding it on eBay, I bet a lot of people don't realise. Bumps the price up, dernit!

Hope to pick up some recons though (so hands off everyone).

Has anyone bought some and then complained afterwards about them being "fake"?

Why spoil the fun? Is it better to have "fake" FW for inflated prices, or none at all? ;) Personally I'm waiting for prices to come down as people realise what they're buying. If they don't come down... I'm happy that more people have got the models they're looking for, thus keeping the Epic flame alive.

Cheers

I suspect GW keeps their hands off, on the grounds that the demand needs an outlet somewhere, there's no legit supplier, and if it wasn't for the ebay recasters you'd see more players using the recaster websites.

We are talking about the same GW, right? Even if they can't legitimately take legal action, they will. ;)

Cheers

Heh, but it's whack-a-mole against the recasters, especially the ones in China. Most sell FW stuff, including epic, for half or less what they cost from FW. A handful of minis scoring huge prices on ebay, that they probably couldn't permanently shut down anyway, is better than people rushing en masse to rogue websites and buying all their 40k stuff there, too.

That's not really what I was getting at, I was more interested to hear whether they would confirm or deny that they were recasts. As I said in the post you quoted, I am in the market for some myself. Not at £40 per pack mind, but still :)

I can confirm that china is mostly good.
Shadow swords are a little Ho hum but the warhounds and Thunderhawks are very very nice indeed!
