Hey everyone,

with starting to play a bit more now, im looking at the best ways to transport my army. Im looking for something which can easily carry 4000 points including a Titan. At the moment im using a card board box and bubble wrap/toilet paper!. So what do people recommend? Hoping for something smaller than a GW case.

Regards

Zoglug

I brought a KR multicase 6mm 2 weeks back and its ideal for epic. Im not sure where you'd put the titans (maybe in dreadnought trays from the 40k range?) but the standard 10mm trays take epic stands well and i have my more unusualy shaped vehicles in 23mm pick and pluck trays.

If you use magnetic bases like you can get from Litko, Dream Pod 9, or Shogun Miniatures, you can get a steel toolbox and use that :)

I use my battlefoam cases, and used their custom tray creater tool to create the layouts I wanted for my epic trays. The trays are a little expensive at $30US a pop, but worth it if you have the spare cash (i.e. if you aren't spending tons on models). And if you are not in North America it can be a bit expensive shipping them over the pond.

Once I get my armies rounded out I'm planning on doing the battle foam route myself. In the mean time I'm using Sabol same as with my 40k.

I second and third the battlefoam route. I picked up 7 of the Sabol sized layers in the fixed 10x4 1 inch think size and they have been great for the storage. I've got my whole ultramarines chapter outside of the land raiders in 2 layers. If you are careful you can get 4 stands on strip bases in one slot. For the old square bases, you can put 2 on the bottom but then put a pair of strips above them as the strips are just a hair bigger than the slot size so they fit in snug so the squares don't slip out.
