For personal use and conversions etc, getting some resin copies made seems like a good way to go.  Actually finding and then purchasing a whole mob is unlikely.  

It would be really neat to have a mob of these or the Mk1 Stompas on the table.

Absolutely! It's generally a nice model but a bit flawed and badly posed there and I'll do my bit to improve it and make it look better. Keeping it worse just out of some desire to keep it pristine would be odd and and counter-productive - I want the best looking model, rather than preserving the original or it's re-sale value for the sake of it.

Here's a pic of the other version released at the same time ...  I added the belly gun, extented the other other weapons barrels.    I'll be keeping the other one I just got pretty much pristine ... May add a longer barrel ...

Hypothetically someone who might have the facilities to copy it is dubious it would worthwhile, as they don’t think many enough would be desired to be worth the bother. If you disagree and hypothetically would be interested post here.

One thing I particularly like about my Stompa compared to the more recent ones is that it has a big grill at the front, which is just asking for painting with internally lit fiery glow covered by soot blackened grill. Possibly I won’t display quite the same level of originality in converting as the original design, as I will be influenced by the years of designs since and my attempts to mash them all together into one army, but I will make more effort to convert and paint it than my other Stompas (which will probably all be converted) and I did win the conversion contest of this year’s EpiComp, so my converting skills are not too shabby.
