I only buy OOP models etc online so "paying more" really isn't an issue. Its mainly the "what I can afford part".

Most people like paying less then they can afford though ;)

Wow Warhead, a non-condescending response to my flippant e-bay remark. Definitely a first for this thread.

Anyway all of this is extremely off-topic and I apologize to Moscovian.

I just hope you guys bid high and often on this lot and don't swoop in at the last moment and take it for a pittance.

Even though they're still in production, I've seen EPIC Tau go for *higher* than retail on eBay... *laugh*

Especially in North America because we don't want to pay for the shipping from the UK.  I will get these auctions up probably tomorrow.  I'll probably put them in small auctions so that people can cherry pick them and not have to sell their pancreas to grab the whole thing.

But to be serious for a moment, I agree 100% with you. I have bid, and won, many auctions doing it this way. I bid a real maximum and then acepted someone wanted it more if I lost. I never look at it as "oh I would have paid that". Because if I would have, I should have bid that amount.

Exactly.

There were times I have picked up a bargain as no one else has bid. Othertimes I have lost out by a couple of pence/cents for something that I wanted. But they must have wanted them more so fair enough. When that happens you have to shrug and wa8it for the next one to come along.

Yes in Germany FW stuff goes often for more as if you would order from FW directly because only a few own a credit card.

Erik: the answer to your question is in the original post: I need the money.  Altruism flew out the window when I realized I was hundreds in the hole and a good percentage of that was because of Raiders.  I think me keeping the book publishing afloat is enough, don't you think?

Go to eBay and just search for "Epic Tau" and the should all come up normally.
