Yes, I saw that mentioned on the FWC link on his site, IIRC, copyright stuff ...  I have not seen FWC yet but Tom/EW, got a copy and just e-mailed me. He said E/W & DRM are well represented ...   :))  I guess, G/W's Epic is doing "So Well" they don't need any extra marketing ...    8v)  And based on my experience, it shouldn't be too hard to add Orks, Eldar etc. to FWC ... And I strongly agree, since G/W is trying to make Epic a Doppleganger of 40K, the excessive ethno-centric rules, got a little fiddly, IMO ...  (Of course with 40K Apocolypse, they tried to make 40K a clone of Epic ... only bigger ...   )

They are in the book they have been renamed

And in the case of Marines, seemingly downpowered!

Eldritch Caste (Minbari?), Hunter-Scavanger Mob and The MacGregor Clan are fine examples.  8v)

My first impression of the marines is that they will be a small tough force. However, you have to step back from the GW fluff to some extent.

Iron Fist Armoured Legion!
Hm... Someone close to here would be pleased.    :vD

I am pleased - with the possible exception that I now have to get off my backside and finish the rest of the tanks in the list... :sigh:

Still, I'm looking forward to doing the Cathedral of War. Should be a bit of a challenge, but hopefully fun too.

Regards,
Reaver

Forget everything else in the book, who makes eagle transports that feature in there?

I totally second that TRC, they are IT and after some research (bugging Pete that is) I discovered they are made by Konami and he bought from eBay Japan.

Even thought I understand why, but I am still dissappointed about renaming all the epic stuff. It is just not easy to read, that is all. Hopefully somebody makes unoffikul list with "proper names". Like they say in Finland "Puhutaan asioista niiden oikeilla nimillä" ("speak about things with their proper names" (usually when talking about something naughty))

I've made draft "translations" for Marine corps and Bug colony. I could start a thred with those if you all feel its appropriate.

Arg! I have to get them from Ebay?! I can't just buy them?! Thats just not on!

In other news any manufacturers I missed out to add to the 6mm list?

Someone posting the lists with the gw names would be handy for some.

A quick search for Konami and Eagle gives me a load of 'Space 1999' ships... That cant be right... can it? Anyone have an image of these things for those of us without the book?

That is exactly what the ships are. Not sure what pete has used for the infantry though. Two types of eagle, the transport one with the dropable section and smaller fighter looking ones.

That's the one, but it is to large.

No, I think it's the right size ... a transport should be Big !  Saw some on eBay, but it appears these may be a bit hard to find ...
