Its based on Blitzkrieg Commander and Cold War Commander games produced by Pete Jones.

The games mechanism is based on warmaster so your troops don't do what they are told all the time. List design will be more free form and will cover other miniature producers.

I'll probably purchase it but I don't see it as a replacement for Epic as my Sci Fi rules of choice.
