Hi guys,

The 2023 EUK Championship will continue at Counter Attack, on Sat Jul 22nd, and once again we are returning to last years venue; Bristol Independent Gaming (BIG)

Details
There are sixteen spaces available. Tickets are £20, and are available via the EUK site as normal, and will include lunch.

In a slight change to last years format, the first two games will be at 2500pts, with the final game being 4000pts. Players are asked to submit 2x army lists. The builds may be different, but must use the same army list for both games.

Lists are to be chosen from the Epic UK approved lists and are due by midnight on Fri 7th of Jul.
Please note, the first round of the event will be a variant scenario. Details will be posted following all army list submissions.

The schedule
09:15 – 09:45 – Registration and Welcome.
09:45 – 12:00- Game 1
12:00 – 12:45 – Lunch
12:45 – 15:00 – Game 2
15:15 – 18:15 – Game 3
18:15 – 18:45 – Awards, tidy up, vanish into the Bristol night…

Getting there & Parking
The address for BIG is: 16 Cater Rd, Bristol BS13 7TW.
There is parking available on site.

I can't make this one sadly, but I thought it worth mentioning Bristol now has a Clean Air Tax, I mean, Zone. If you drive an older vehicle, you will need to pay. Or miss the inconspicuous signs and receive a fine, as I did.

Ooh, thanks for that, I'll be heading upcountry afterwards so will have to work out how to get round the zone!

While yes there is a zone now, the venue is not in it, and you can avoid it relatively easily by using the ring road rather than the M32 and going through the middle. That said, google maps doesnt seem to know it exists and will route you through it if you let it.

Is there an update for this? I know lists should have all been received by now and was waiting for a post about the special scenario. (I’m not on Facebook or the like so am reliant on this thread for information.)
