For 2020 Epic-UK has decided to shake up the year long competition, and make a replacement to the current Championship and Plate.

This year will see two divisions, Premiership and Championship, running across all qualifying events in the UK. The Premiership will contain 8 players. This is made up of the Top Six from the 2019 Championship standings, and two previous Championship winners.

Both competitions will follow the same scoring format as previous years Championship. This will allow players in both divisions to gain bonus points for playing different races and armies across 2020.

At the end of the year a two up, two down promotion/relegation will take place to keep both divisions fresh each year.

As a reminder, for an event to qualify for the Epic-UK Premiership/Championship it must meet all these requirements.

Use Epic-UK approved lists.
Have at least eight players.
Have a minimum of three rounds.
Games must be between 2500 and 5000 points.
Maximum of one game may use a none GT scenario (Max two for 5 round+, two day event).
The results, including round by round match ups, must be sent to tournamnets@epic-uk.co.uk within one month of the event.

Interesting! I'll be looking forward to seeing how it goes :)

I'm assuming that otherwise placings and points etc work the same?

Good stuff.

Suggestion: Change 'Championship Roll of Honour' to 'Shield Roll of Honour' so as to not confuse the old championship and the new championship.
