UPDATED The tournament will be in Glasgow. 21st and 22nd September. Location is The Glasgow University Union. 32 University Avenue. This is in the West End of the city. Easiest travel is to take the Underground to Kelvin Bridge. Then a 5 min walk. Travel. Flights to Glasgow Airport is the easiest. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is quite a bit outside the city but does trains in. Edinburgh has regular trains to Glasgow and could be cheaper. Accommodation The Hilton on Byres Road is a ten-minute walk from the location. https://secure3.hilton.com/en_US/hi/res ... ution=e1s1 Slightly cheaper, there are hotels in the neighboring Anderston area, - a ten-minute walk through the park to the location. Argyll Guesthouse, Lorne Hotel. Sandyford Hotel. There is both a Premier Inn and Travel lodge in the city center, from which you would be 5 mins walk from Buchanan tube stop, then ten minutes ride to Kelvin Bridge. Lists etc The tournament will be 3k, played as teams, with 5 games each. Net Ea approved lists. Where there is no Net-Ea list, Epic-Uk may be used. I am happy to discuss any other options as long as we keep the balance. You can safely assume that Dave and myself will be there although as only 2 from the Border Wastelands we may need shoehorning into a team if noone minds? Ill try not to tank all my games this time i promise! |

What do we want to do from the UK perspective this time teams wise? I'm assuming we might be looking at an English and Scottish team this time at least, and looking above possibly a team from 'somewhere in between the two' (i.e. from the place that's north to the northeners, but still not scotland) |

The plan is definitely to have a Scotland team. If only so we get to see a Dan v Monkeyboy Scotland v England game. |
