The EpicA marathon that is Britcon is once again just around the corner.

Six games, at 4,000 points awaits us all once more.

Same venue, same price as the previous 6 years and with the Britcon Fiver back again still not bad value.

Two tickets sold as I write this, lets hope we get to the minimum of 8 again this year, though more the merrier for sure.

All the details can be found here - http://www.bhgs.org.uk/britcon.html

I'll buy a ticket closer to the time, but I'm definitely down for this. It gives me a good chance to stay with and catch up with an old uni friend in Manchester too.

Sadly this once again clashes with my (already booked) family holiday.

Next year I really must change when we go on holiday....

Just a quick one, anyone know how to tell if you've booked a ticket or not? I've definitely sorted out accommodation, but can't remember if i booked a spot for the actual event!

When I booked my ticket I got an order confirmation by email from eventbrite.

My emails on the account it would have gone to went a bit... strange a few months ago, and while i salvaged all the ones i could think were important, most of the 100,000 or so effectively got binned in the process.

You haven't got a ticket yet Richard.

So far it's myself, Tiny Tim and Yme Loc.

There's an outside chance I can make it this year. Depends on some ongoing spousal negotiations ;D

I treat mine to two nights at the Macdonald hotel.

Heh, we've tacked on a week in the Lake District, so Charlotte's going to be off shopping and suchlike during the rest of the weekend i believe

I'm not sure the offer of Manchester shops instead of the usual London shops will be a winner. If only I could somehow associate with obscure Czechoslovakian design history to work into her PhD she'd be there in an instant! Maybe I could convince her Stockport is a Bata town? ;D
