In terms of table themes, the plan is:

Cityscape - built-up areas, ruin areas, a river and maybe some hills.

Desert - assorted 40mm-tall plateaus, woodland areas, large silos and rocky columns, Orky settlements.

Polar Regions - lots of snowy hills, woodland, built-up areas.

Industrial Zone - Titan hangers, ruins, woodland.

Agriworld - hills, woodland and a river.

Cityscape 2 - DZC tiles and buildings, woodland.

Between now and Saturday I'll be doing a summary sheet for each table with suggested terrain categories.

That's an interesting set of lists.
Between 12 lists there's 15 Titans, 2 Deathwheels and a whopping 25 further War Engines. Admittedly, Steve and Duncan account for 19 of those... :o

I thought I'd try something really subtle! I want nothing whatsoever to do with with all those ravagers!!!!

Good job you brought plenty of barrage weapons! ;-)

I don't know what you're talking about, there's only 20BP of Disrupt Barrage in my list! And some of it has more than 30cm range. >:D

Although to be fair my mighty 7 MW weapons that have much chance of actually damaging WEs are all on CC or FF dice. :'(

Oh god, I am in sooo much trouble! Those titans terrify me!

My list building plan was basically 'What units do people not use in the DE list? I'll take those.'

I know what you mean, my 'depend on their 3+ save' Death Guard aren't too happy about all the MW and TK firepower that's going to be flying around the place. Two freaking Warlock lists, grumble grumble grumble... ;)

Interesting mix of lists there.
Did anyone take the different mission into account when list building?

It definitely affected my choice of race but not of list. The other option was Dark Eldar.

Hahahaha!

Kind of yeah. But the DE in general just don't want to be on the table. Got a few fearless and 'tough' (that's DE tough) units to try and be able to hold some ground.

It did stop me even considering Necrons, but as far as the list itself goes it's the same one i used at the GT back in November ;)

When it dropped from 4 turns to 3 I decided against bringing an air assault list - that's got to be the biggest impact. When did you last see two biel tann armies at a tournie and no vampires?

Not at any that Steve G attended with Eldar ;)

Personally i've always been rather fond of the Warlock based list, although it's success does rather depend on how good you are at making 3+ saves, not to mention stupid rough terrain checks!

Yeah - I've seen Mark lose his holofields the first time he activated his warlock due to DT before. That said its armour saves were going great guns when we played last week it survived on 1dc having been hit by pretty much everything in my army (though his swooping hawks lost to my rough riders which was funny).

I tweaked my list a bit by having a second formation of Contagions and being slightly less Garrison-heavy, but not by much.

I'd planned to take steel legion and they seemed well suited to the scenario, but having tested them once i realised i still need some serious practice with guard. Reverting to eldar i thought id. better take the most resilient thing i could find!

Krieg will be hard to beat in the scenario i think. The 30cm deployment will negate their usual disadvantage.

If i'd been planning to win the scenario i'd have taken Black Legion, but i played them too much already this year, and its bad form to win your own tournament right !? (Thats my excuse and im sticking to it ;-) )

Yeah, there's some serious outnumbering going on with the Krieg on that, especially when you can package that into such a small footprint. Presumably infantry still count when in vehicles btw?
