EPIC MININGEDDON

1st AUSTRALIAN VASSAL TOURNAMENT

SIGNUPS ARE OPEN!

Introduction

Epic:Minigeddon is not serious. If you’re doing it serious, you’re doing it wrong.

RULES

All Minigeddon rules are on this page:

https://sites.google.com/site/epicarmag ... minigeddon

Additional rules:

If there are 2 most expensive formations, the controlling player picks which will be BTS.
NetEA developmental and approved lists may be used.

How this tournament will work:

Each player will be assigned opponents, and can play them at any time and in any order over during a period of 4 weeks. The initial matchups will be random (unless everyone gets to play everyone).

The winner will be everyone who participates and has fun. The tournament winner will be whoever wins the most games, with Victory Goals scored as a tie breaker, followed by least Victory Goals conceded as a secondary breaker.

ARMIES

You can pick a different army every game! What???!

Maximum fun and experimentation! Write your army list, then in Vassal click Army List, and paste it into the Delayed tab. You and your opponent can then reveal at the same time.

VASSAL ETIQUETTE

This event is just for fun, and uses a 2D tabletop simulator to represent a 3D game, so try not to take it too seriously. Be as clear as you can about your moves, be generous with cover saves, and remember there is an undo button if anything goes wrong.

Good luck, and have fun!

Just so you are aware, we are currently updating the Epic Armageddon London which will make the site not available for a couple days.
It will return bigger and better very shortly!

Meanwhile, if you need a copy of the rules pdf please find it here Minigeddon Rules

Thanks for the update Mr Gonzo.
Are there any planned changes to the MiniGeddon rules?

The main aim of the maintenance work is to update the site to 2016.
However, we decided to streamline the table space to 120x90cm, making it the exact half of a regular table and adding those few additional centimeter for flanking attacks. :)

This does rather beg the question, why an Australian competition specifically using a tool that naturally lends itself to gaming across boundaries?

Greg Knight may have a battle report from his match vs Gregg coming soon. In the meantime, here's a shot of the battle at the start of turn 1.
