Incoming.............

For the second year running, I'm running the Exeter Entrenchment 2015 tournament- part of the Epic UK 2015 schedule. Bringing more mayhem, madness and marvellous Epic battles to the South West UK. Comprising of 3x 3000 point games throughout the day (using Epic UK army lists) & Epic Armageddon Grand Tournament rules. Up to 16 players will battle it out over 6x4 tables to claim victory!

Fantastic prizes are up for grabs, courtesy of Exeter Entrenchment Prize Sponsors: Hawk Wargames, Onslaught Miniatures, Dark Realm Miniatures & Microworld Games (additional prizes will also be granted on the day). Prizes will be honoured for: 1st 2nd and 3rd place, Most Sporting player, Best painted army, most ‘Heroic or Stupid” moment of the game and of course last place honours.

Tickets are £15 each, this includes lunch (from local chip shop -The Friar Tuck). The event is taking place at the Whipton Institute Social Club in Exeter. For further details please take a look at the location section on the website.

Each of the 6x4 boards will feature trench warfare over various themed Home Worlds - three of these boards have been uniquely crafted (painstakingly slaved over by me :0) to represent an Ice world, Scorched Earth World and Volcanic Chaos World. The remaining 5 tables will be standard gaming boards themed by various terrain features to represent worlds such as: Agri World, Forge World, and three more (yet to be decided)....

Tournament Schedule

* 09:30 – 10:00 - Register

* 10:00 – 12:30- Game 1

* 12:30- 13:30 - Lunch

* 13:30 – 16:00 - Game 2

* 16:00 – 16:15- Break

* 16:15 - 18:45 - Game 3

* 18:45 - 19:45 - Awards & Beer

(kick out time is actually 9pm so any help packing away scenery etc would be appreciated). Also give you more time to drink beer too :)

Further details as time goes on but tickets are available now :0)

Please note I'm quite busy at the mo (work etc) so won't be able to check the forum regularly as often as I'd like until Mid June. You can drop me a PM or email me (email address is listed when you click on the Paypal Buy it Now link on the ticket site) Ticket site link is listed under my sig. As tickets are bought I'll post the confirmed entrants in the usual way on this thread.

"Flush em out!"
Time to get those barrage templates ready.......

No time to get a ticket till next week, but I'll be there again - last year was fantastic!!

Hopefully with a few extra Cornish this year (hoping they get inspired by seeing the games at the EEC in Birmingham this weekend!)

Sadly I can't make it this year because I will be on vacation in France at that time. At least I saw some of the faces (even blip for a sec) today at the EEC :)

I'm hoping to join the London contingent in coming to this. Sadly with epic uk squat list not due to later this year I might need to bring a more standard army!

Cheers Reedar. Looking forward to catching up again. Err...promise I won't trap your orks in their own trenches again... :)

Good stuff Blip. Looking forward to having you back for EE2015 again. What army/race takes your fancy this time?....

Sorry you can't make it Mr Largo. Was fantastic meeting you last year and seeing your lovely painted Tyranid horde cause chaos
in a few games. Hoping to meet up at a tournament down the road.

Top stuff Mr Gonzo! Hope you can make it again this year. If so, wonder if we'll see another
famous sci-fi franchise themed force of the Imperial kind.

Would be great if you can make it down for this SteveKCole. Squats may not be available yet, but if you're after a maverick/crazy army you could always go Feral! Loads of squggoths, squig catapaults, junkkatrucks, Wierdboyz etc. I can certainly vouch for these maverick boyz (as my opponents at counterattack 2015 will certainly agree). I'm sure you'll have far greater success than me (due to my complete lack of tactical ability on the day) which saw them loose every game :0), lol.

Hope so Richard. Looking forward to catching up again. You were the undersputed king of trench warfare last year, wonder if you can repeat the same winning formula again? :0)

Hi Tim,

All paid up ! Can't wait, especially since seeing lots of faces at the UK Expo - last year was a blast !

Not sure which army I'm taking yet - kinda depends if i can twist a friend's arm and he need to borrow one of my armies ! But i have at least one new player coming (Mike who a few met at the Expo at the weekend) and possibly two more...

See you all soon !
