And I probably rolled out all the bad luck out of my dice on that day. I never rolled so horribly for activations. But, brumbaer was even worse, activating absolutely nothing in multiple turns.

Cool scenery and armies!!! :D

Since it was a minigeddon tournament, no wonder there was time for 4 games in a single day. How much faster are games in minigeddon?? 1-2 hours at 1000 points??

We manage a game in about 45 minutes here in Hannover. The games are nearly complete luck, though. Initative and Strategy Rating has a huge impact with only 3-4 formations per side, too.

The Battle of the Thames minigeddon tournament sets aside 90 minutes per game but I don't think anyone went to time.

Ha, you would be surprised how many games reached the time limit ;)
On the other hand, I'd say half the tables finished in good time.

BOTT 2015 will have the same time limit of 90min again as it appears to be just the right lengths and also allows for 4 games within one day without stretch. :)

And yes, Minigeddon is the beer & pretzel format of E:A. Und dass its gut so :D

Though we are working on an update to the format that should tone down some of the more favoured armies and will help the current underdogs.
