That's right folks, the CLWC Epic League is back!

Rules are very simple. Everyone plays everyone once. Player with the best results after 6 games (epic uk tournament rules http://epic-uk.co.uk/rules/EpicUKRulesPack.pdf) wins.

Fixtures are below. Key thing for you all to do is submit two 3000 point epic UK lists of different races to me before you play your first game - make sure you indicate which one you'd prefer to play as. If possible we want to avoid people running the same races so priority will be given to Shaun, Rob, and Alun as the new league participants over races.

For example, I am submitting Thousand Sons and Dark Eldar, my first choice is Thousand Sons. If anyone else wants to play tk sons I'll go with my second choice. If both are taken, there will be a high tech process known as fiddling around.

Fixtures are (please note due to uneven numbers everyone has a month off at some point). Don't forget to post your results on this thread after each game (otherwise we won't have a clue).

It will be fun to get the knights back on the table, I even have some of the forgewirld sculpts to try and figure out what to do with!

Shaun's list is now in. He'll be marines. A few tweaks need to be made but we're basically good to go. This means that Gavin will be playing as some form of Eldar. Good luck to all involved. Start getting your games booked if you haven't already!

PS Dan 1314 has gifted me a rather splendid jungle mat/tablecloth (not as fancy as the winter mat but still rather splendid) which I'll bring down this week. Should go well with Nick's trees and the ork buildings!

Hi. I have put that down as a tentative date.

Lists are now at the front of the thread (except Shaun who's tweaking - but as he's the least experienced player I'm happy for him to have a bit of extra time). I'm happy for folk to make the odd minor tweak as long as they flag with me (but no list tailoring!)

A pretty good level of filth (Mark pips me to the early award here) to fluff balance!

Looks a good mix of different sorts of list and playstyles.

Me, Steve and Rob went for a lot of the big toys but I think Gavin and Florians lists look pretty tasty on the ''we can take on anyone" front.
