Thanks for posting this. I knew the UK players had more chance to play, and tended to be the better players, but I didn't expect them to dominate the top 6. It's a fight for second place, unless something drastic happens tomorrow. |

The UK has been the premier scene for Epic for quite some time now. I'm more surprised that us Norfingers are managing to hang with the germans (the other nation who had an actual ranking and enough players to pick out the best ones to come to the tournament). It appears that Lag Sverige ended up more as "who can actually make the trip", which surprises me more (that they didn't manage to put together a team like the UK or Germany) than that such a team isn't fighting for the top spot. |

I was referring to the placing of the teams overall, not the individual player rankings. I should have made that clear, sorry. Definitely looking forward to the results of that match, though I would have liked to see him matched closer to one of the UK players nearer his rankings on the second day. I understand that the importance is on having players not play people from their country/team and not playing the same race too many times, but it would have been great to see some concession to current rankings going into the day two matches. |
