Post subject:  1st Austrian Epic Armageddon Championship
Hi all!

Currently plans are being made to hold the 1st Austrian Epic Armageddon Championship on the weekend of 23rd and 24th August.

Location will be Burg Oberkapfenberg http://www.burg-oberkapfenberg.at/index_en.php in Kapfenberg a little north of Graz (just use google maps ;)).

The plan is to hold a 2 day tournament that starts at 1200 or 1300 hours with two games on Saturday and two on Sunday. This should give ample time for people to travel to the location and also for some free time to explore the castle or have a night out in Graz.
Since we have participants from Graz and Vienna, transportation could be arranged.

Sleeping could maybe be possible at the caste (sleeping bag) (have to check), apart from that budget accomodation in Kapfenberg is 20-30€ a night with breakfast.

There'll be an entry fee, and I hope to convince Don from Onslaught to donate another army deal as first prize! :)

Hi there!

This sounds very promising. Two battle per day seems comfortable and also allows to make the tourney ladder matches more even! (And I like castles aswell :) )
Hmm, this means that I have to finish all the fortification for a specific army. :D

curse my wife and her plans!

We've got the in-laws visiting us in august so I can't travel to austria to play with tiny tanks :(

just bring the whole family. There's lots of entertainment on the castle (ok maybe not lots but there's a birds of prey show which is spectacular http://www.burg-oberkapfenberg.at/conte ... hrungen_en among other things)
