Looks great Steve :-), We're using 'Vanguard Wargaming' in Hotwells at the moment; although they're REALLY impossible to get hold of unless in person! Shoot me an email or PM if you'd like and I can get the date on their calendar for you and ask any questions that are needed. Venue Hire is £70 for the day and they have 10 tables. |

Any ideas of the date of the one in Feb? Trying to sort my calendar out for the first 3 months of next year and don't want to miss an Epic event if i can manage it ![]() Oh, and is the BHGS one in April a 1 or 2 day event? the eventbrite page seems to suggest 2 days, so was wondering what the format etc was likely to be. |

Just a thought I had, My brother is part of the "OldHammer" community. They recently organised a 3rd Ed meet up at The Foundry and apparently had a brilliant time. Considering most of the staff there are basically the Citadel old guard there were loads of interesting things on display, some of John Blanche's minis got shown around and Rick Priestly made an appearance. Here is a quick bit about it from thier website: http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/events/oldhammer Could make for an interesting venue some time? |

I rang the foundry and enquired about holding an epic tournament there, the guy got all sniffy when I said a GW system and said I'd have to send a written proposal for them to consider. I dismissed them as a venue after that as there are plenty of venues we don't have to try and persuade to take our money |

Oh okay, I rang them today for a bit of info and they said it would be fine, maybe it's different now that GW have dropped Specialist Games? Either way, one of the other good things about the venue is that it is normally free to host organised events there. |

Hello All, Have been a bit quite of late, engaged in house buying. Won't be doing that too often I hope. Unfortunately, still no update on when Cambridge Doubles will be - the hall is run by someone new who seems less responsive to emails. I've got myself a ticket to the UK Expo, Roll Call and Britcon. |

Day two of roll call is to be a campaign/big game day... if anyone has a preference let us know soon. If we get enough ork/guard/marine players we can do "A bridge to far" again... could be fun with all those historical players in the room ![]() |
