Hey guys and dolls, I have sent the online registration to get Epic on the map at CANCON 2014. Still waiting on a reply from CGS. JTG has done a great job over the past few years and I thought I would give him a break and put my hand up to get the ball rolling. As a concept of operations it is a three day event again this year, Sat, Sun and Mon, Mon being the public holiday. My aim this year unless persuaded otherwise is to run two days of tournament and a big bash day. Saturday and Sunday would be the tournament days to allow fellas from interstate to depart and make it home in time for work. With Monday being the big bash for locals and the die hards that want in. I am not firm on tournament size as yet, but I am leaning towards 3000 points. List would be all the approved and the development lists would be looked at on a case by case basis. The aim would be to play three to four games a day and using a points system determine victors on the day. Big Bash, the theme this year is 30K, with some great work being done by Fattdex, I am keen to roll the clock back and get a Epic Marine on Marine massacre happening. More on this as we approach the big event. So get painting peeps. Epic showcases what big battle are all about, so be prepared to show the 28mm fellas how it is really done. So keep your eyes peeled on the CGS website for registration for CANCON 2014. The earlier you jump on the more chance we have of getting good floor space for a larger tournament. I have added $10.00 to the price for prize support, and you can bet your arse they will be very cool. I look forward to hearing from you all and look forward to seeing some new faces around the tables. I also aim to provide some accommodation options for fellas travelling from interstate, more to follow once I have more information. Please add a reply to register your interest here so we can get a good idea of player numbers. Cheers Aaron |

Having heard Aaron's plans when I visited this should be a spectacular event and you should attend if you possibly can. Perhaps ask Onslaught about prize support |
