Happy New Year!

Firstly thanks to everybody who attended tournaments or helped with playtesting in 2012 which was another successful year with record attendances.

Moving on to 2013 tickets are now on sale for our first event

Full Scale Assault February 9th at Maunsfeld Games in Mansfield - tickets £15 including lunch. After the success of last years offer new players again have discounted tickets at £8.

Two new events are scheduled for this year

Epic Uk Campaign Weekend March 9-10 at Maunsfeld which will be Imperial vs Chaos fighting for the City of Ottergrad. tickets and scenarios available soon

Expo 2013 a 2 day 4k event at the national Games Expo in Birmingham on May 25-26 for £19. Tickets on sale soon - also we have a special Epic rate at the venue hotel.

List wise the Chaos lists will be updated in March and a new Dark Eldar Codex added in the summer with more to follow

Regarding Expo I should add that Tom and Exodus Wars have been exceedingly generous and provided some fantastic prizes for the tournament

The Campaign weekend has now changed to the following weekend - March 16-17

I'm gonna ask a really stupid question.

I'm seeing in various tourney threads and all over the EUK website that various events are being held at 'Maunsfield games'

I presume this is what was Maelstrom? (As an aside I thought the gaming side became Eye of the storm or something?)

It was 'the eye of the storm' briefly, but for reasons unknown it's now 'maunsfield games'

They split up the company into several separate companies in an attempt to make them into viable independent companies, because they knew their mail order business was likely going to the wall. More or less.

yeah, but I thought 'eye of the storm' was the name of said company, they even made a webstore and got a sign made for the shop, but then they suddenly changed again to maunsfield miniatures, and with a new webstore again....
