Hi,
At a resent tournement brilliantly run by Ryan (Man of Kent) at Triple Helix in Westbury I met a couple of Bristol based players who I had not met before.
On the train back to Bristol we discussed a few things, one of which was where they play. I live above The Old Duke pub (BS1 4ER) and have 5 tables there which people are very welcome to play on. I also play at the new Vanguard wargames shop on Hotwell's road (not Epic yet though).
Vanguard has it's own forum and, after posting a thread similar to this one (http://z10.invisionfree.com/The_Bristol ... c=2485&st=), several players are emerging.

I therefore thought I'd just pop this up to allow Bristol (or near) based players to put their hands up and possibly start arranging games. Feel free to PM me or post below if you'd like to use the Duke, either to play me or others (I'm still learning so am happy to play or watch).

For those that don't know me I field a Marine/Guard mixed list (Saranes Expanse) and have just begun the long process of building and painting an ork army. Since rediscovering Epic just over a year ago I've maybe played 10 games or so.

Hope to see you soon and possible give you a game.
Stu

My friend Steve lives in Bridgend if any of you are ever heading that way or fancy catching a train for a game (it's an hour or so train ride to get there from Bristol). He has a table at home and Epic Guard and Necron armies, plus Aeronautica, but I don't think he had anyone to play against since I left for Oz over a year ago.

Well I'm bristol based and work in central bristol so I'm up for any evening games people fancy. I'm also starting painting the rarest of the gw games: warmaster if anyone fancies some tiny fantasy battles at some point

For those of you who have read Triple Helix announcement that they are ceasing to operate as a venue - I've spoken to them and they will still honour the EpicUK booking so Counterattack will still take place in Westbury on June 22nd
