And the latter is the rub for me I'm afraid. It's not necessarily the time - although that is definitely in very short supply, given a long enough window it should be possible to get a game in. Rather, it's the distance. If I may be frank, I am simply not prepared to travel 200 miles (or more) for a single game of Epic, and the tournament has the possibility that I might need to do that twice. As you say, I guess that is purely a function of how far I am prepared to go in order to satisfy the craving (pun intended)

So naturally you may still find people willing to do it.

Would be best I think. If it was 1x local, 1x regional and 1x national (preferably somewhere easy to get to in a day like London) I could consider it.
