++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I can hereby confirm dates for this event.

I've decided to run it on the same weekend as Britcon: Friday 10th till Sunday 12th of of August. Basically amost alll that have expressed interest so far (and we're nearly full on numbers) aren't planning on attending Britcon so there's no conflict that I can see. I also have other commitments come late August and so that weekend is easier for me.

Hello UK Epic Community!

Many will have noticed that the Bristol Crew are planning on running a Campaign Weekend in August this year. With enough Interest shown I am now in the process of finalising dates, times, cost and exactly how the campaign will work.

People have already expressed a dislike for the Bank Holiday Weekend of August and - indeed - I'd more rather be cycling in the glorious outdoors than moving little men around the table that weekend!

This effectively leaves me with two possible dates:
1) Weekend of Britcon
2) Weekend after Briton

Thus far the event has 10 out of 14 places with expressions of interest and many of them are fairly solid. To my knowledge none of these people plan on attending Britcon so it's not currently a problem.

However, are there any players out there who would like to attend both events and/or feel that running the event during that weekend unduly steps on Britcon's toes? I doubt that many people would be able to make both events due to cost of travel and accomodation regardless but I would like to make sure that, if the events do clash, no one feels that we're stepping on each other's toes.

Thoughts and opinions here please, including possible attendees preferred dates.
Happy Gaming!
Yrs,
Ryan

I'd potentially be interested too - but since it's on/near Britcon weekend I suspect it would only be me from the Manchester area.

I am currently looking for my next army project, is one side or the other currently looking short in terms of numbers?

Hmm pity, as I already have my pass (with SWMBO) arranged for Britcon it looks like I won't be able to make this.

One trip a month and that's Britcon.

I have commitments Monday evening, so need a date that did nt run over into Monday. Beyond that, at the moment, am totally free on any of the sat/sun listed.

Thanks

James

Shame to miss out on you Tim and Meph :-), understand though: I've always wanted to make Britcon but simply can't justify the expense!

James: we won't be going on till monday morning! We'll be packed up by late late sunday at the latest :-) I will be making a timetable to see that we get through it all though :-) Forces may end up depleted as the campaign continues so it's likely that not all of everyones collection will make the final cut for Sunday's mega battle!
