Tactical Command :: View topic - USA, L.A., E:A Narrative Game @ Strateicon (Orccon) 2012

So awesome yet I don't know if I can make it :'(

But a few questions...

1) Its says some of the special rules will be used? Do the Attacker/Defenders get both rules the first game or just 1 and if so do you pick or is it random?

2) The Hero cards: Are there 2 decks to draw from or just one per table?

3) What lists are allowed? GW Only? NetEA? NetEA Approved? Raiders and Siege? etc

4) Could someone (assuming #3 doesn't not allowing it) play AM PDF, Titan Legion or Sisters lists?

Hello Taccom folks. If you are attending Strategicon (Orccon) 2012 there will be a precursor to the Adepticon 2012 Epic Armageddon Narrative Game there. Saturday, February 18th, 2012 Los Angeles, California, USA. (just outside LAX airport) 7p.m to midnight or so. It takes place after the 40k/WFB tournament (the Broadside Bash 2012) You can check out the player packet here

All valid questions, because I was thinking the same thing about 1, 2 and 4. I think Raiders would be out, since this is supposed to be IG, SM. ORK and Eldar only...right?

No, the first game does not get the 'special rules'. If you are an Imperial, you will be a defender, Xenos, attacker. Raiders and Siege? etc It is a fun game, not really competitive. NetEA approved is perfered, but if your opponent is OK with Experimental, it's fine. The theme obviously is Orks. Vs. See above. I would discourage a Titan list, but if you have your heart set on it, check with the guy across the table. I could put restrictions on the game, but there just aren't enough epic players left in this part of the contry to really restrict things. Lets see how it goes, and if someone pulls out a list that is crazy nasty, then we'll pull out the 'banned list' hammer if it comes to that.
