Hello Gents! Got this in my email in-box and thought I'd share with the rest of you whom may be thinking about coming to the event. Online registration opens on Oct. 31. http://cart.adepticon.org If you go to the main site. you won't be able to see all the events for 2012. The link should provide you access to see the events per day, but the link for downloading the even schedule is not working yet. That is all...carry on! |

For us "specialist" gamers, the tournaments we would want to be keeping an eye on. Friday 8am: Warmaster 2000 points Saturday 8am: Epic 3000 points Sunday 8am: BFG 1500 points + Transports with up to 120 points of transport only upgrades for scenario 2. |

I got my Epic ticket and am ready to go! Quick question...I have a buddy who is interested in attending, but only if he can play his Tyranids...will they be legal? I don't remember seeing any last year. |

They are legal. max 3 upgrades per ship and 1 of each type. I made the change after 2 years ago when the winner IIRC had 2 or 3 of the 14 hit/6 spore monstrosities that most of the players he faced couldn't touch while the guy who took none of the ship upgrades got his tail handed to him in 2 of the 3 games IIRC. As a note, head to the SG forums threads for more specific intel. The transports will be used in all the games now. |

Sorry, I wasn't clear actually meant for the Epic Armageddon tournament! (I didn't see the other thread until just now) But thanks for the quick response! |

It may be dead annoying but I see no reason to restrict it. |

I don't remember seeing any last year. Tyranids don't have a play-tested list that is balanced. So unfortunately they are NOT legal at the tournament. However, they can be proxied as something else. The community hasn't gotten a list out that's been run through the ringer, which is what really needs to be done before it enters tournament play. Also, with so many Tyranid builds out there, there's no consensus on which to use, which will cause too much confusion at the tournament. |

What about the Tyranid list that Caregradas uses on his battle reports? (Assault on Hive Cassius) That one doesn't seem to be too bad... Makes a great battle report for sure! ![]() |

Just an update - There are still tickets available for both Epic events, the Warmaster tournament, and the BFG tournament. Get 'em while you can, though - the Epic tournament is down to four left. |

Has there been a decision made on any Adeptus Mechanicus Titan Legions lists, e.g. Legio Gryphonnicus or Destructor? I have an Imperator and a Warmonger (conversion WIP) that I'd love to field. |

Here are the permitted lists: getupandgo wrote: Spectrar Ghost wrote: getupandgo, have you come to a decision on whether to allow Vanaheim yet? Also I'm interested in what (if any) armies you'll be accepting from the Compendium. Approved only? All but Experimental? Or on an individual basis? Armies allowed are as follows: • Any list on the GW specialist games site: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... Id=4900003 • All armies in Epic Raiders: Epic Raiders Fan Supplement • All armies in Epic Siege: Epic Siege Fan Supplement • Tau 6.4 • Vanaheim Vanaheim Air Cav list ONLY • Elysians 3.1.1 • Black Legion Chaos Black Legion • Lost and the Damned The Lost and the Damned Rules will be posted shortly; no special scenarios, straight 3k tournament games with possible corner deployment, apx 1/3 sportsmanship, 1/3 painting, 1/3 battle points. Players choice will be worth 10 points. Awards for best overall, best painted, best general, and best sportsmanship. Bring 3 objective markers, 4 copies of your army list w/ your name on it, and armies w/ a minimum or 3 colors, fully painted. I'd PM getupandgo if you want something not in the list, but I'm guessing the Titan lists won't be allowed - they have the potential to skew the metagame radically. Not a criticism of the lists themselves, simply a statement that some armies have no ability to field the MW/TK density required to effictively combat Titan lists. |

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see one of those bad boys striding across the field blowing up enemy formations in a spectacular fashion. ![]() |

If you look at the AdMech subforum, the current list he's looking at is a Warmonger, an Imperator, and two Marauders. I'm not sure how that'd work but I suspect it would be poorly, at least in a GT secnario. Will you be around Friday, austinitor? Come to the EA Narrative game with them; they'd fit in perfect there! |

The Ad Mech Titan Legion list definitely doesn't fit in a balanced 3k tournament setting. That said, the narrative game would definitely be the perfect place to bring your titans out to play. I'll have my Legion of warhounds and Reavers there. Unless I decide to release the horde... we'll see. |
