The tickets are now on sale from the Epic-UK website for the Epic-UK Grand Tournament. This is taking place at Maelstrom Games, Mansfield on the 26th & 27th November 2011 and is the final event of the Epic-UK calendar for this year. Every attendant gains a bonus Epic-UK Championship point. 5 games of 3000pts over 2 days. Total Cost for the event is £25, which includes lunch on both days. See the crowning of the Epic-UK Championship Champion for 2011. Check out the Epic-UK calendar for more details. And I can't find anymore excuses to mention Epic-UK in this post. |

Don't forget that EpicUK have just released their EpicUK Tyranid Army List for use in EpicUK tournaments such as the EpicUK Grand Tournament. Also, aren't EpicUK running the first EpicUK painting competition at this year's EpicUK Grand Tournament? And how about the EpicUK AGM? I'm provisionally in for this. |

Unfortunately a distinct lack of interest in the painting comp lead to Epic-UK not pursuing it this year. I'd expect some sort of briefing to take place again and the Sat evening. |

Epic-UK AGM is provisionally booked for the Saturday evening of the Epic-UK GT. Although personnally the Sunday lunchtime of the Epic-GT would do me better. We'll just have to see how many Epic-UK committee members are there to lead the Epic-UK AGM. Will look forward to your input again E&C. I'm so far behind with my model building I still haven't touched those beauties that I traded from you last year

Why not just do something more ad-hoc, ala GW's Golden Daemon (Just register stuff when you arrive) ? I'll even provide a prize or two, if you guys run it. :-) |

Quite. I can't see it being all that hard to put a form in the tournament pack and say "fill this in and bring it along if you want to enter in the painting contest". I'll donate a very nice prize if you do it. |

To organise prizes and independent people to judge it we wanted players to commit, they didn't, so we dropped it. |

I think by setting this strict six month thing you've stacked the deck so it could never happen. You've got an offer of prizes right here, and how hard is it to find a judge or two on the day? It's not like you're building rome here, you're just putting some toy soldiers in a line and saying "That one's pretty". |

2 weeks left to get entries in for the GT though it would be very helpful to enter as soon as possible - 15 entrants so far. |
