The Sabbat Worlds Crusade
The Sabbat Worlds Crusade will be an Epic Armageddon Campaign Weekend, held on the 12th and 13th of November 2011, hosted at Triple Helix Wargames, Westbury, Wiltshire.
The campaign follows the Imperial Crusade to retake the Sabbat Worlds from Chaos forces starting in 755.M41. The campaign will consist of 2x 2v2 doubles games on saturday, and one large 6v6 megabattle on sunday. Each battle will be a unique scenario written for the event, and the result of the 6 games on day 1 will subtly affect the megabattle on day 2.
Army lists are to be 3000pts, chosen from either EpicUK or NetEA army lists that are complete*. Armies are limited to either Chaos or Imperial forces** and tickets are specific to the side on which you will be fighting (Chaos tickets and Imperial tickets). Within this limitation I am open to a wide variety of army lists including less common armies such as Ad Mech, Sisters, Krieg, Lost and the Damned, Traitor Guard etc.
The venue has a gaming hall, cafe and shop. They will be providing lunch on both days and unlimited tea and coffee all weekend, this is included in the ticket price.

www.triplehelixwargames.co.ukIt would be great if people who plan to attend could post here and let me know what army you are bringing, so I can plan around the mix/balance of forces.
**Footnotes**
*NetEA lists: Some NetEA lists are still in development and undergoing a varying amount of changes on a regular/irregular basis. I want to include as many lists as possible to enable players to build characterful armies for the campaign but please try to be mindful of the state of developement of an army list and not pick one that is untested or 'dead' and no longer being developed.
**Chaos/Imperial only: I want to keep the campaign focused around the crusade, and keep the narrative strong and not have to dilute the story to shoehorn tau/eldar/orks/necrons/nids into it as it could become silly. However I am mindful that it wont be a success if we have 6 Imperial players and 1 Chaos player, to this end I am willing to widen the scope of the campaign if I am struggling to fill the event. I would be grateful if people who are interested in attending but who do not have an Imperial/Chaos army could post here or PM me that they are interested and what armies they could use.
-The original proposal for the event and discussion about it can be found in this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=88&t=20475-As you may have seen in the original thread I had planned for it to be a Chaos attack on an Imperial planet. Having discussed it with a wide variety of people I have decided to swap that round (Imperial Crusade on Chaos held planet) for a number of reasons. Firstly, I think it is a more interesting plotline, the Chaos attack has been done many times before and has less interest IMO, an Imperial Crusade also gives more credance to a combined Imperial force of many types of army. Secondly, the Sabbat Worlds Crusade has a lot of fluff on which to expand and allows people to explore a real narrative for their army if they wish to.
-Timings: I have expanded the time per game to 4hrs, following discussions with a couple of people who felt 3 games on day 1 would be too rushed. Im very happy to do this as I definately want this event to be layed back, and to have a different feel to tourneys.
-Scenarios/Storyline: I plan to have a laptop/dataprojector with me for the event and to have lots of maps and cool pictures that will link the games in the campaign together and make them feel like more than just random battles. Each battle will be a unique scenario, and will give the winning side a subtle bonus for day 2.
