Just in case some long distance travelers are interested. It's... North East United States's Flying Circus Epic Armageddon Tournament round four! That's V less an I for you Roman types.

Where:
Time Machine Hobby
71 Hilliard Street
Manchester, CT 06042

When:
Saturday, June 25th 2011
9:00AM to 10:00PM

Cost: Entrance is free.

Games:
Three 3.5 hour rounds are planned, with a one hour break in between each. Games Friday night are planned as well as a mega-battle/more games for Sunday.

Rules:
The Epic Rulebook and Swordwind supplement will be used, along with the Epic 2008 Errata and Epic FAQ 2008. All of these are available free from the GW website.

Armies:
Armies should be 3000 points and selected from army lists in the Rulebook and Swordwind supplement, or the Epic Raiders 2.0 and Epic Siege "unofficial" supplements. Other army lists are allowed, just ask.

There could have been 5 (and your powers could have combined to form Capt. Planet, the Megazord or Voltron) but Mr. Muppet here decided he doesn't like us enough to come and play.

Speaking of 4 though, any chance Tim C will be joining the NH contingent?

now, if I could somehow collect all of Central PA's old frying oil, drain the university of its ethanol stocks and somehow combine that in a way that didn't destroy my ancient Focus, I'd be there in a jiffy.

No, he's running a Warlords tournament at The Battle Standard, which by the way is no longer in Buckland Hills mall. It moved to the Buckland plaza near the Oliver Garden. Nick told me that the person who used to run the tourneys moved and Tommy asked him to run it. Another case of bad timing for Nick. He was looking forward to attending for the first time.

It does seem like a lot, though I believe the standard for GW games is supposed to be about 25%.

seems about right to me. If you go with less you often end up with stand and shoot games. I'm sure if you squeezed it all together, it'd take up ~25% of the board :)

Dave, sorry I could make it, I was very sad I wasn't there, even if no one else was <sniff>. How did the Salamander's Luscious Corpuscle do? Looks like it avoided getting shot down at least.

ya, 25% , like i thought, but it looks like 40-50% to me (based off pics). lol, why didn't no one tell me you guys were testing city fight EPIC....!?!?!?, i'm always outa the loop.... lol
