Train tickets bought. I should be into Manchester around 1300.

Let me know what warm up games you want to play and I'll bring the appropriate stuff.

Paul S and I should be in Manchester 12:30 or so oh top UK Menoth player (2 years running).

I think Hordes/machine if probably best unless anyone wants some early Epic warm up.

No real deadline on the BHGS front. But I'd kinda like to know how many tables worth of terrain we need to organize asap.

Only 4 entries received by BHGS so far. Get those forms off gents, we need a min of 8 to guarantee that Epic A will be on for this year.

Hmm, contemplating this one, however im just not sure if i can really head to a tourney with such inexperience! Grated ive got 6 weeks to get some games in, but it truely isnt a lot of time.

I shall see.

From personal experience, i think its best to just jump in and go for it - i learned a huge amount in my first couple of tournaments :)

MikeT attended Botc after 1 game of EA and seems to have enjoyed himself

Zog, I wouldn't be to worried about your level of experience. I personally know a couple of guys (myself included) who went to their first tournament with just a handful of games under their belt and had no problems. You'll find your opponents will be very helpful and, patient indeed.
And as Richard says, you'll learn an awful lot. And I might add, with your new found experience you will be chomping at the bit for the next tournament.

Most importantly though, you will see more great epic stuff than you can shake a stick at. Especially at Britcon!

People will be there, might be playing some casual games of Hordes but I'm sure someone will give you a warm-up game.

Only 6 weeks left before the Marathon that is Britcon will begin. Get those forms in people!

If players want to start sending lists to tournaments@epic-uk.co.uk that will be fine and the deadline for lists will be 17:00 BST Friday 6th August.
