Guys, since there is only 6 weeks between BotC (26-27 June) and Britcon (August 13-15) I am suggesting holding the London tournament on May 1st and 2nd.

As usual I am proposing two days:-

Saturday will be a EPIC-UK tournament of 3 games, normal rules and 'official' lists on the EPIC-UK site

Sunday will be a "scenario day", latest lists from all races (within reason). It will follow the format used in Bristol (which was a real blast) using three scenarios fought over three rounds. I will announce which ones later, but please let me know any preferences ASAP.

---------------------------
Note:- I have picked that weekend because it is midway between Full scale assault (March 27/28) and Open War XIII (May 29th) and because of my holiday commitments.

I'd enjoy the prospect of seeing a tournament day (using the tournament scenario) that also allowed more than just the EpicUK lists.

Still, another scenario day is welcome too.

I'm game! I managed to save the 'Dice of Dave' just for this very event.

Soon the tables will tremble with the oncoming roar of... well failure :D. But I have faith that Daves dice may well just give me edge and let me score a win. Two is too much to ask for :p.

As before, I'll bring a load of pre-release goodies for distribution as prices if wanted?

I may head down for this Ginger.

I'd actually much prefer it if the wider selection of armies were available for both days too, so you could use them in both tournament scenarios and not, makes things a lot more varied and interesting.

My suggestion would be a tournament on day 1 with experimental lists and scenarios on day two with EUK lists only. That way we'll actually be able to collect some useful data and give constructive feedback on both the lists and the scenarios.

This seems cool to me... although it would mean that neither day could count towards the EPICUK championship, of course.

I might well be interested in the Saturday (the g/f has been banging on about going to London for a 'days shopping' *shudder* and this would be a good way to escape Oxford St whilst still being able to go and do something fun on the Saturday night).

I hope i can make this, the first day of this tournament is my birthday, so me coming is dependent on what my family and girlfriend are wanting to do, but it is my birthday so well see   .

I'd prefer Gavins original plan of tourney/scenario day which seems the best of both worlds

Whilst it's nice to see an event having more than just the EPICUK lists, seeing experimental & NetEA lists relegated "only" to scenario days is not going to help balance the experimental lists (which should be best tested in the tournament scenario), or the scenarios themselves (as experimental lists are going to distort things there too).
