Just entered this one as well.

Imperial Guard hopefully - they're a sort of silvery-grey colour at the moment.

Well if you not looking for best painted guard stuff looks good with the old base, dry brush, wash and pick out the metal bits!

Still undecided what to take, Can I paint a hordes army and an epic ork army in 2 months...... very unlikely

I'm in.

Definately taking Eldar to this one.  Army is mostly assembled, but is taking a back seat while I do some other stuff ATM.  Should be able to have it fully painted in time though......

And don't forget you get a bonus point towards the championship total by playing at the GT.

I'm pricing this up for a mate and I.  Few questions:

1.  Anyone going to be about the Friday night?  Would it be worth driving up Friday night or early Saturday?
2.  Where you guys all staying?

I'd be taking the Dark Angels that failed to appear at Britcon.  Just got to trim it down by a thousand points first.

As far as I know only one player normally travels up on Friday, and as he is coming from Devon the journey takes a while!

Of course Maelstrom is in Mansfield and they may be open late on Friday for some gaming.

A few of us are staying at a B&B called the Clifton Hotel. Rooms are very dated but its @ £35 for a single including a Full english. Its a 10 min walk to the venue and the curry house / pub we normally go to on the Saturday night.

Rooms are very dated.

You can sometimes get the light programme on their cats whiskers.

The breakfast isn't bad though.

We'll be driving up from Portsmouth so stopping over Friday may be best for us.

Thanks for recommending the Clifton.  NG18 2BP - is that the right one?
