Alexander Graham Rice was born late on Thursday 23rd, weighing 3.6kg. Baby and mother are both healthy and happy. Father is very proud. Alex has already peed on pretty much everything in the house and is now nicknamed Vopilkin (crying machine!) by his Russian mother.  :_(

Thought this should go in the tournaments section for two reasons. One, I probably won't be able to attend as many tourneys now (this year anyway) and two, once Alex is trained in the ways of Epic I'm fully expecting him to dominate the tournament scene. Dave Thomas - your days are numbered!

Also, I'm wondering at what age I need to keep my old lead minis safely out of harm's way before he decides to find out what they taste like  :oh:

Congratulations. I'd recommend getting some cheap (ebay) plastic GW figures, these can then be converted / painted / destroyed to your kid's delight and yours as they are not touching the important stuff. Also don't leave things on display as these get played with first.

Congratulations Nick. He is beautiful. You must be very proud.

As to you epic stuff. Well out of sight out of mind is the order of the day. I keep mine in boxes on the highest possible shelves. And whenever I do some painting I have to put everything away as soon as I hear my little one approaching. If he sees it, he wants it. He's right royal pain in the arse, but I love him.

You're ok for the next couple of months but after that your stuff isn't safe for a decade at least!

Again, congratulations!

BTW I'll probably not be doing any more tournaments this year, except open war in october. I definitely want to try and make that one. Get clearance from your missus (good and early) and I'll give you a lift up.
