Would anyone be up for going halves on a hotel room  if they're going to into the breach? Would come to about £25 each i guess which is half what a single is.

Alternatively, as ever, would anyone be willing to put me up on the sofa overnight?!

MoK, one of the gents from the Clapham wargames club (link to forum) is going and last time I checked he was looking for someone to share with.

His tag on their forum is Admin.

I'd like to go so long as it doesn't work out too expensive and would be happy to share. How many nights would we need?

Rug at Britcon was musing about the possibility of maybe camping to save money too, not sure how feasible that would be.

Is anyone from the forums from the area?

Thank M.

GLYN: It's £15 ticket, indoors accomodation would probably cost us £25 each; don't know where we'd end up camping though!

Perhaps taking a train back to leeds or manchester to find a cheap hotel and enjoy a night out would be a better idea?

Sheffield is much nearer and to be honest a travel lodge is pretty much the same price anywhere.

Steve54 is about the most local.

Quick search found this but I'm sure there will be some B&B's in the area.

I don't know about camping in Wakefield, a cheaper hotel though  is the Travelodge at Sheffield Meadowhall - £39 per room and I would be happy to give people a lift from Wakefield-hotel on saturday night and back the next morning.

Only  one nights accomadation would be needed- a train leaving Kings Cross at 715 will arrive in time on Saturday and you should be able to get back to Kings Cross about 10pm on Sunday night.

if kev is going and i can get a lift i may go but if he is not then i will not be bothering.

I am feeling a little disenchanted with epic at the moment.

PM sent to Rug; if Glyn comes we can go for a family at a travelodge room; indeed that would sleep 4 and I don't mind staying on the floor if anyone else wants to join us

Well; Matt (Rug) and I are both on board for a room in the travelodge in Mansfield which is literally 5 mins walk from the venue; Glyn has dropped out so is there anyone else who wants to join us in cheap accomodation bliss before we book the room in a couple of days?
