So, the Tourney has been offered for October the 8th (A Wednesday).

The Tourney will run from ~elevenish until whatever time is nessesary to run the usual three rounds.

There are about 4500pts of NIB Epic Imperial Guard models for prizes (1st/2nd/3rd places, best painted, etc).

Entry price will be £15.

The tourney will either be a 3000pt standard tourney, or 1500pt 'doubles', depending on how many sign up.

The GW in question (GW Wood Green) stays open until 10-11pm on a Wednesday regardless.

Once you get a better idea of time it might be an idea to consider 2700 if you need to hurry games. Surprisingly runs about 30 minutes faster.

You going to send this to the London clubs?

Time can be as late as we want ; As I said, the GW stays open until 10/11pm on a Wednesday.

You going to send this to the London clubs?

Oh and Army Lists.. I was thinking 'official' lists, plus a selection of other lists, such as Tyranids, Tau, Raiders lists, etc.

It's more meant to be a fun tourney where you get free stuff at the end (I'm currently thinking of dividing the prizes equally, and letting the top players choose their prizes first, so that everyone gets something), rather than an official-only kill-em-all tourney.

I think that's a really great idea E&C both on the allowed armies and the prizes front.
We have plenty of official, hard core, tourneys as it is so I think it would be nice to have something a little more 'fun and relaxed'

Certainly I would like to see raiders being next official thing to actual GW lists so that should definitely be allowed. And the Nid , Tau and AMTL are important lists that should should certainly get a look-in in a tournament environment from time to time.

I wish I could make it, but alas I am teaching.

Hopefully another time I will be able to come along and get myself a nice wooden spoon to help in the kitchen.  :laugh: .

DOH.

As there haven't been enough sign-ups this time round, I'm going to have to push the tourney back.

4500pts worth of prizes and only 5 entrants, lame!  ???

Feel free to post if you can think of a more suitable date, perhaps some time in November.
