Well another tourny, another bit of fun! Normal rules pick the top 6 in the correct order.
2 pts for every correct top 6 pick and 3 bonus points for getting them in the correct position.

Declared entrants so far (Updated 1 Sep) :-

Alan Saunders
Joe Jephson
Nick Rice
Tim Hunt
Matt Arnold
David Bartley
Paul Sutton
Mark Williams
Dave Thomas
Steve Gullick
Bill Ely
Kevin Bott

Don't forget you can see how everyone is doing this year at
UK EpicA Championship

Subject to further entrants, here's my guess

Dave Thomas - 2 tournaments and 2 victories this year Dave has to be here
Steve Gullick - Consistantly good & the defending champion
Joe Jephson - No longer Mr. 2nd Place
Matt Arnold - Fresh from winning Britcon a drop in points could be critical
Bill Ely - Choice of army will be vital here but Bill has been know to catch some players out.
Tim Hunt - Got to give myself some sort of backing but ever since the UK Tournaments Championship started its been down hill all the way.

Here's my pick
1. Steve Gullick - I suspect to retain his crown will depend on him breaking his Dave T tournament hoodoo, but I reckon this will be the one :)
2. Dave Thomas - A lossing draw to Steve puts him in second place
3. Tim Hunt - Starting to regain form - remember Tim form is temporary, class is forever :))
4. Joe Jephson - Seem to be fluctuating around the 3rd - 4th spot as my new customary placing
5. Mark Williams
6. Matt Arnold - He only really does well at Britcon - but still good enough for sixth :)

Seeing as I've only managed to ever guess the winner in these Fantasy Epic challenges and usually get the others wrong heres my list for Call to Arms based solely on who I want to "not" finish in the top 6 due to the Uk championship standings. :))

1) Dave Thomas - as this has been the only position I've managed to get correct so far, hopefully keep that going after this event.
2) Joe Jephson - leader of the UK championship Jinx,Jinx,Jinx
3) Matt Otter  - 2nd in the UK championship  Jinx,Jinx,Jinx
4) Tim Hunt    - 3rd in the UK championship Jinx,Jinx,Jinx
5) Nathan Hoole - 5th in the UK championship. Mmmmmmmm Nathans a member of the constabulary so I'd better be careful not to upset him and have the car towed, mind you I'll be in Steve or Bills so that doesn't matter. Jinx,Jinx,Jinx.
6) Matt Arnold  -6th in the UK championship Jinx,Jinx,Jinx.

Good luck everyone and I hope to see lots more newcomers, hopefully we can get over 20 players at this years event.

At this rate Dave the only person left to jinx will be yourself. Get ready for Gavin dice rolls  :)

my guess

Dave Thomas - perfect scores so far
Joe Jephson - consistently good. As noted though, his place is normally 3rd behind Nathan.
Steve Gullick - not quite so consistent
Nick Rice - did well at his first tournament. Either he was lucky or he has talent, we shall see.
Matt Arnold - can be brilliant - can lack luck.
Tim Hunt - occasionally suffers from bad luck.

Behind Phantom! Harsh. I came second in the GT last year!

You are right that I only seem to do really well at Britcon... I do preferr 2 dayers.

Thanks mate!  :p
