Last call for those wanting to pick up their copy of the Raiders supplement at the tournament.
(See below for details)

=======================================

Venue
? ? ?The Cock Tavern, Phoenix Rd, NW1 1HB.

This is 3 mins walk NE of Euston mainline station, and around 10 mins walk from some cheap B&B accommodation.
Space in the pub is limited, so I can only cater for 18 people (possibly 20 at a pinch) on a first-come-first-served basis,
The good news is that I can drop the price to only ?10 a head, and being a pub, time is much less of an issue.

Timetable
Provisionally as follows to allow for travelling etc:-
    Saturday
09:00-10:00 arrive, register then 3x games 2.5-3.0 hours each
    finish between 18:00-20:00

    Sunday ?
10:00 arrive; 2 or 3x games as above
finish by 18:00 to allow for journeys

Matt Otter has kindly agreed to umpire, so it will be the same format for those familiar with the other UK events (using the 2008 amendments and errata). Saturday will be restricted to the list of 'official' races on the SG site, while Sunday will use the latest "experimental" lists from this site (Epicoms).

Announcements
    Army lists submissions
Army lists for both days must be submitted by Saturday 14th June. Note I want a separate list for each day, even if people are intending to use the same race (not least, because you may want to try out some variant of your favourite list).
On the "Experimental" Sunday, people who are bringing "experimental" armies should also bring an "official" army, and ideally they should have submitted a list for it. So potentially you may need to provide three lists - if you are feeling extravagant and want to bring a third army, or want to experiment with a variation of your regular army.
Given the number of people and the number of armies, this could mean up to 60 lists to check, so I will not object if you want to start sending them in early :)

    Tournament Prizes
Exodus Wars have approached me regarding the London tournament, and have very kindly donated two ?15 vouchers for 1st prize and Best painted army in the "Formal" tournament on Saturday - so now you have an incentive to get practising and painting!

    Terrain needed
Please bring your own terrain with you if you can bring enough terrain to completely dress a single table (ie 12 reasonable sized pieces of terrain).

    Epic Raiders
As you may have noticed, the fan based supplement "Epic Raiders" is complete, and we are in the process of getting some copies printed in the USA. We can get them shipped in bulk to the UK in time for the London tournament, which will significantly reduce the postage costs. So if you want to pick your copy up at the tournament, follow Moscovian's intructions here

I'm interested, but that does seem fairly steep.

Tim,

I think it's a cover story (and a bad one at that). I just don't think Matt could take ANOTHER event when my specialist games sig doesn't change :)

I can now confirm that this tournament will be going ahead

I have had 'interest' from 12 people which is not enough to go with the original venue, but I have found a cheaper alternative:-
? ? ?the Cock Tavern, Phoenix Rd, NW1 1HB.

This is 3 mins walk NE of Euston mainline station, and around 10 mins walk from some cheap B&B accomodation.

Matt Otter has kindly agreed to umpire, so it will be the same format for those familiar with the other UK events (though it may well be under the "revised" E:A rules).
At present, assume the usual restricted list of 'official' races.
Overnight accomodation
I have provisionally reserved some B&B spaces at around ?32.50 per head for the weekend of 28/29th June but these need to be booked within the next week or two otherwise they will get taken. So if you are considering coming to the competition and staying overnight, please get in touch with me now so I can give you the B&B contact details. Otherwise, I will have to let the accomodation go, and cannot guarantee you will be able to stay in London as cheaply.

In any case, please contact me when you are sure that you will attend - even if you are amoung those who have already expressed an 'interest'.

Finally could you also state your preference for 3000 or 4000 point games, and any other preference you may have over the timetable etc

At that price count me in.

What army lists are going to be allowed? Book only? SG Official? TacComs Official?
