I don't think the venue has another suitable table or we could probably strongarm another player to come along... sorry, would have been good to have you along!

looking at the list, I'm sure you could proxy them with Vypers if you have enough painted?

Thanks Tim, please pack them as a contingency, though I hope they will not be needed.

As we will be fighting each other in the first game I hope I don't have to use them; either you will complain about your own models destroying your army or more likely I will complain that your models are not sufficiently aggressive - (or my dice are doing their usual trick of sabotaging my plans . . . )

I do have some Vypers, but I don't think I have 15, and painting up other stuff will dilute my already meagre efforts on the Hornets when they actually turn up.

No problem, they'll probably work better for you than for me anyway.

475 Mounted Aspects:- (4x Striking scorpion, Fire Dragon, FD Autarch), 3x Wave Serpents
325 Mounted Guardians:- (Farseer + 5x Guardians), 2x Wave Serpents + 2x Falcons

225 5x Hornets

300 3x Phoenix Bombers

I am told the Hornets are in the post, but am not sure I will have time to paint them now - they will be basic at best. The good news is that I have discovered sufficient vypers . . . . .

I should be painting a warhound for sunday but have loads of falcons to paint so doing them instead

I recon you've missed the trick here Gavin - It should be 2x Cobras for your EoV Host.

The list is 'intriguing' and has a number of options. I think the Warp Hunters could be worth looking at, especially out of a 'gate. The Hornets *should* be significantly better than Vypers, with one more unit and an extra shot - personally I suspect they are slightly undercosted (or the Vyper is overcosted) - hence the mild 'spam' to see if this is true.

Mounted Guardians and Aspects are more obvious, but mandating an EoV formation and the costs of the respective formations together with the lack of Rangers as an activation boost means that Yme Loc armies are likely to struggle for activations, which I believe is key to Eldar armies.

However we shall see what happens on Sunday.

And you all know my views on the new Cobra stats, hence Scorpions - though I am sure we can discuss further on the day, and I am prepared to be proved wrong.
