I bet he's tagging along just for your winning personality Mosc ;). The games are an extra bonus.

That puts us at 5 definites.  I'm certain I'll be able to get 3 out of the maybes as well for an even 8 at least on Saturday.

Got the numbers, thanks both.

Any thoughts on the Sunday game(s) and the suggestions I made above?  On a glance over some of the armies coming, you could have
Good Guys
AMTL
Space Marines
Minervans
Demiurg

Bad Guys
Chaos
Orks
DE
??

Tyranids could be a rogue element on the board with its own victory conditions.  Or maybe controlling a specific objective uncontested (a science facility) allows the Tyranid player to be allied with that side.  The bugs could find themselves fighting both sides, but 'win' if they achieve some specific goal (reaching a certain range away from the facility, destroying X number of points of units, being uncontrolled for 2 consecutive turns, etc.)

Dominic, Gary and Chris are now officially out. I'm waiting to here back from Matt, Jason and Pete.  That'll give us 8.

I am also bring my SM and have around 1K worth of IG as well that I could table instead of the nids.

I'm also planning on bringing other stuff besides AMTL, just in case.

Dave, check your email.  Sent you an expanded version of the idea I had.

FYI I haven't heard from Justin Tebo but I did send him an email to remind him to send his army list.  I can't imagine him not responding at all.

He lives in CT and actually stops by the shop where we'll be playing Saturday. ?He told me repeatedly that he was probably coming but wouldn't commit. ?He did the same thing last time, registering a few days before the tournament - annoying but he came through in the end.

EDIT

He is not on Tactical Command but is on The Gaming News I believe.

Oh, well that's good to know. I'm surprised he hasn't come by for a game with DS and I.

BTW Dave, Justin is the player I mentioned who lives in/near Middletown. I'm kind of surprised he hasn't stopped by yet. In my email to him I mentioned that we play semi-regularly at Time Machine.

PJ and the north shore folks are out as well now. ?PJ said the 21st was his wife's birthday (and that he nearly made a dreadful mistake :-D). I told them we'd take plenty of pictures.

So we're still waiting on:
Matt - Chaos
Jason - SM?
Justin - ?
Pete - Orks
DS's Nephew - ?

Which one is TraditionCT? ?And has he confirmed? ?It would be odd if he didn't show up since he reached to you guys.

--

Just my recommendation, I would call some of these guys on the phone as soon as possible.  If the tournament is going to fall apart at the last second I'd rather re-schedule it than show up and have 4 other people to play against.  Last time Tim and I stuck with it and we had 3 of us total show.  While it was a fun time, the cost of driving up and staying over this time is considerably higher.
